HDSA Convention Scholarship Applications due March 1st   

Join HDSA in Spokane, Washington from May 30th – June 1st for HDSA’s 39th annual Convention. There are scholarships available for first-time attendees, Washington residents, and New Jersey and Kentucky residents.  

This year’s Convention will feature plenty of research programming, including a showcase of actively recruiting clinical trials, an opportunity to ask HD scientists questions, talks from HDSA-funded researchers, and more. We hope to see you there! 

HDSA Research Webinar Next Week! uniQure discusses AMT-130 

Join HDSA next week on February 13th for a research webinar in which uniQure will present the latest update about their study of HD gene therapy AMT-130 in the ongoing HD-GeneTRX trial, and answer community questions. Help4HD: DNA Repair with Joseph Hamilton  

Last week on the Help4HD podcast, host Lauren Holder was joined by Dr. Joseph Hamilton, a researcher studying DNA mismatch repair in the lab of Dr. Sarah Tabrizi at University College London. Dr. Hamilton discussed his work studying genes that impact CAG repeat expansion. This can influence when HD symptoms begin and how quickly they progress in people with HD.
