How to Give Through Your Workplace

Many employers offer charitable giving programs that allow employees to support causes they care about. Depending on your company’s program, you may be able to make a one-time donation or schedule recurring contributions directly from your paycheck.

To get started:

Ask about your options. Contact your Human Resources or payroll department to learn about your employer’s workplace giving program.
Select HDSA. Search for Huntington’s Disease Society of America in your company’s giving portal or charity directory.
Choose your gift. Follow your employer’s instructions to select your donation amount and giving schedule.

If HDSA is not listed, ask your Human Resources if you can set up a gift using HDSA’s EIN: 13-3349872.

Community Health Charities

Community Health Charities, now known as CHC: Creating Healthier Communities, connects workplaces with nonprofit organizations through employee giving programs.

Is your organization a part of Community Health Charities? If so, please follow the instructions below to support HDSA through your workplace:

Contact your Human Resources or payroll department to learn how to participate in your organization’s workplace giving program.
Select Huntington’s Disease Society of America (HDSA) as the recipient of your contribution.
Choose your donation amount and follow your employer’s instructions to arrange a one-time gift or recurring payroll deduction.

Increase Your Impact With Matching Gifts

Your workplace donation may go even further. Many employers match eligible charitable contributions made by employees, and some extend this benefit to retirees or spouses.

Ask your Human Resources department whether your gift qualifies and how to submit a matching gift request. A few extra steps could multiply your support for the HD community.
