If you weren’t able to join us for the 2018 HD Research Year-in-Review webinar or would like to have another look, it’s now available on our YouTube channel. On Wednesday January 16th, along with HDSA’s Dr. George Yohrling, we presented an overview of HDSA’s research activities and hot topics in HD for 2018, talked about what happened in the HD clinical space last year, and discussed what’s coming down the pipeline in 2019. As a reminder, all previous webinars are recorded and listed on HDSA’s research webinars webpage.

Research Survey: Last Chance to Participate

Another research survey will be closing on January 21st, so please share your thoughts while you can (and enter a raffle at the end of the survey to win one of 10 $25 Amazon gift cards)! Researchers at Stanford University School of Medicine are investigating attitudes and beliefs regarding clinical trials for Huntington’s disease (HD). This study is being conducted as a part of a genetic counseling student research project.

Individuals with a positive genetic test result for HD, who have a diagnosis of HD, or who are the primary caregiver for an individual with HD are eligible to participate. Participants must be able to fill out the survey independently. It will take about 20 minutes and can be accessed here: http://bit.ly/HD-trial-survey
