Dear HDSA Community,

As I wrap up my last few weeks as President & CEO of the Huntington’s Disease Society of America (HDSA), I want to once again express my profound gratitude for the incredible journey we’ve shared. Over the past 15 years, it has been a privilege to lead this amazing organization and work alongside such passionate and dedicated individuals. Together, we have made significant strides in our mission to improve the lives of everyone affected by Huntington’s disease.

I am pleased to announce that the HDSA Board of Trustees has appointed Arik Johnson, PsyD, Chief Mission Officer as the interim CEO while the search for a new permanent CEO is underway. Dr. Johnson, who has been an invaluable part of the HDSA community for more than 20 years, brings a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to our cause. I am confident that under his leadership, HDSA will continue to thrive and advance our crucial work in research, education, and advocacy.

With Heartfelt Gratitude,

Louise Vetter
