The sold-out event was hosted by ABC News meteorologist Amy Freeze and co-chaired by HDSA Trustee Jennifer Leyton and her husband Mark. Members of the New York Riveters women’s professional hockey team joined the 100+ guests for a fun night of bowling with great food and drinks. Exciting auction items included a Henrik Lundqvist signed NY Rangers jersey, Ryan McDonagh signed NY Rangers stick, NY Islanders tickets, singing lessons with celebrity vocal coach Cari Cole, boxing lesson with celebrity trainer Eric Kelly, a Brooklyn Brewery tour experience and much more! The Huntington’s Disease Society of America , in partnership with Teva Pharmaceuticals, launched a program that provides 1,000 free Liftware Level Starter Kits to HD families in need. HDSA Once Again Earns Top Rating from CharityWatch and Charity Navigator In late 2016 it was announced that the Huntington’s Disease Society of America once again achieved Top-Rating status from CharityWatch and a Four-Star rating from Charity Navigator.
